Happy 21st
In the 19th and early 20th
centuries, a popular 21st
birthday present was to
have all your teeth removed
and replaced with a set of
dentures - the idea was it
would prevent the expense of
dental treatment later in life.

Everyone celebrates their birthday
on New Year's Day in Vietnam, a day
they refer to as 'Tet'. It's tradition
in the country that the actual day
of birth is not acknowledged.
