Stand Up To Cancer with me this year Research is key Judith, 25, was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2012. She had been feeling ill with chest pains, but put it down to the fact she was working really hard. Following diagnosis, she was entered on a Cancer Research UK-funded trial which uses imaging technology to give doctors feedback about how effectively cancer cells are reacting to treatment. This helps them to decide whether to increase or decrease treatment. In February 2013, doctors told Judith she was in remission. 'Research is everything,' says Judith. 'Everything we have is because someone before us gave it a try and tested it out. Hodgkin Lymphoma is one of the most curable forms of cancer. But it wasn't always. That's happened because of research.'
