There was also the stress of a break-up from her ex, Mark Croft, which resulted in the pounds melting away. l How: Boot Camp. Kerry kickstarted it all with an army-style fitness regime and a personal trainer. She’s still a fan of a spot of surgical help however – Kerry has had a skin tightening treatment called Mesolift on her tummy. She’s lost 3st in total and is now a size 8. l wHat sHe says: ‘Medication and the coke I was taking at the time made me binge eat. This isn’t about being skinny, it’s about mental, I mean – not that I’m mental – it’s about mental attitude.” ✱ MichaeL Mcintyre, 35 l motivation: When hired as ricKy Gervais, 49 l motivation: Ricky says he was a judge for Britain’s Got Talent, he wanted to be able to do up his jacket. l How: Daily gym sessions and cutting out the carbs and booze. l wHat He says: ‘I’ve been eating nothing and exercising like a nutter.’ a fat, lazy, out-of-shape slob. l How: He runs and does weights, working out for 50 minutes, five days a week, and has lost 2st. l wHat He says: ‘I stopped having that second meal at 11:30 at night.’ fit in her 50s, Lorraine jumped at the chance to take part in this year’s Comic Relief trek. l HoW: The TV presenter, along with fellow celebrities, walked 100km across the Kaisut desert in Kenya, where temperatures reach 48ºC. l WHat sHe says: ‘The trek was the toughest thing I have ever done, but I now feel fantastic for it.
