WALKING TALL Despite her Loose Women co-hosts’ best efforts, Carol’s sticking to heels She may have taken a tumble in her 4in stilettos recently, but Carol is determined not to give in to flats. Shunning practicality for style, she laughed off the ‘sensible’ gift of sturdy black pumps from her fellow presenters, and compromised with kitten heels. However, she did make her way to the ITV studios in trainers on her first day since her accident. ‘It’s good to be back,’ she said. HELLO BOYS NOT ONLY HAS CAROL GOT AN AWARDWINNING BOOTY AND THE SLICK BODY OF A WOMAN HALF HER AGE, SHE’S ALSO GOT KILLER BOOBS. THE 52 YEAROLD WAS RECENTLY PICKED OUT FOR THE CLEAVAGE HONOURS LIST 2013, CREATED BY WONDERBRA. NO WONDER SHE’S BAGGED HERSELF A TOYBOY WITH THOSE SEXY, PLUNGING NECKLINES! GIRL POWER Proving she has brains as well as beauty from a young age, the maths genius went to Cambridge University to study engineering at the age of 17. She was one of about 10 girls out of 400 on the course. The reason Carol wanted to do the course was to become a pilot, an ambition she is finally fulfilling now. She thinks more girls should go into engineering: ‘If you are of that mind, there is nothing more satisfying,’ she said. ‘It’s a fantastic career for women.’ JUNE 2013 | 287
