Don't get caught out by accidentally getting the wrong
home insurance. It's easier to do than you might think...
aking sure your property
is insured correctly may
seem simple. However, if
you don't have the correct
policy in place, it could leave you with
no cover at all.
If your property is non-standard, it
is vital you take this into account and
find a specialist insurer for your needs.
If you don't, there is a very real risk
your property is not insured properly.
Do you use the property as a second
or holiday home? Do you let the
property? Is it unoccupied?
Does it have a large flat roof or a
section of wooden construction?
Are you planning on doing some
work to it?
These are just some of the examples
of properties which could be classed as
non-standard and therefore affect the
insurance you have.
