etting your eyes checked is easy enough. If
you're 60 or over, you can have a free NHS
sight test every two years. Over 70 and you
can have a free test every year. However,
approximately half of all people aged 60 and
over (47%) say that they do not have an annual eye test
(60% of those aged 60-69; 38% of those aged 70-79; 34%
of those aged 80-89 and 24% of those aged over 90).*
As many as 60% of respondents who had not had their
eyes tested in the past two years said the main reason for
